Road Trip 2010 {Part Two}

Road Trip 2010 {Part Two}
St. Louis, MO to Indianapolis, IN

The road trip included so many fun things, but the highlight of the trip for me was getting to spend a week with an old college roommate and dear friend, Angela, at her new home in Indianapolis. She and her husband welcomed us into their home for an entire week. We had so much fun taking the kids to the children's museum, zoo and celebrating her daughters' birthdays with an enchanted princess party.

Welcome to the Hoosier State

Ready to get to Indiana!

One of the fun things we did was visit The Children's Museum of Indianapolis. It had so many wonderful exhibits, but I only posted photos from a few.

The Dino Dig was pretty cool! Maybe one of the kids has a future in paleontology.

Fireworks of Glass is the largest permanent sculpture of blown glass by renowned artist Dale Chihuly. The 43-foot-tall tower rises above a glass ceiling.

Below the glass ceiling.

Ben looks like he's in a stance ready to play football.

As you can see by the sign, we visited the Indianapolis Zoo.

Sweet Sisters!

I like this group photo.

I couldn't leave Ben out. Here he is looking cute.

Mark and Angela pushing the kids.

My husband is a nice guy. He volunteered to ride in the back between the kiddos so I could sit in the front and chat with Angela.

Party Time! Trying to corral the kiddos for a group photo. Good luck with that ;)

Angela and her princesses at the enchanted birthday celebration.

The CAKE! Oh, the cake! I seriously couldn't stop myself from taking photos of this amazing creation. Angela's neighbor and good friend, Tiffany,  made this for the girls. Wouldn't you have loved this cake when you were a little girl?

Enchanting!

It's a true fairy tale castle.

I couldn't leave out Molly. She welcomed us into her home, too.

Sadly, all good things must come to an end. The boys are loaded in the car and ready to go. Chicago here we come!!!
