We go to Super Target almost every Friday night. It's our thing. We load up the boys and drive 45 minutes to civilization (the suburbs of north Dallas). We eat dinner at a place that's fast and kid-friendly and then we head to Target. This routine started almost four years ago when Will was a little baby. After a long week, it's a little stress relief and I can take care of my grocery shopping, too. It's not uncommon for me to get a little sidetracked when I see the clearance section. Friday night I found these bargains. If you've read my blog for a while you know I love Target, and I love anything on clearance.
This brush set was 1/2 off. I'm not really knowledgeable when it comes to cosmetics. I wear Clinique makeup and have since college. One of the younger teachers I work with swears by MAC cosmetics. Maybe if I didn't have little ones I'd splurge on it. Her makeup always looks flawless.
I'm not loyal to any certain brand of shampoo or conditioner. I like to try different ones if they are on sale.
I like fuzzy socks.
I actually needed one of these.
We ALWAYS need these!
I'm putting it away for one of the boys. It's going to go in one of their Easter baskets. I'm a planner, and I like to buy ahead.
Not on clearance but so cute! It's birthday gift for one of my best friend's daughter.
Not on sale either.
We always go to Texas Rangers games in the spring and summer so we had to get the boys Rangers shirts. Thanks to my husband, I've learned that you always wear the team t-shirt to the game.
It wasn't on clearance but I had two coupons, which made this Swiffer Wetjet only $10. My old one broke a couple of weeks ago. I hate to mop but the Wetjet makes that chore a little more tolerable.
Speaking of Valentine's Day...
I plan to do some baking tomorrow for Valentine's Day.
I'll be making Red Velvet Whoopie Pies.
It's my first time to make those treats so I'll let you know how it goes.
Hope you enjoy your Saturday!
We're planning to head to a birthday party and then run a few errands. It should be a great day with beautiful weather!
