Mark and I have been married for 8 years. They say that the longer you are together as a couple the more you become like each other. I'd have to agree that there's some truth to that statement, but it doesn't apply to all things. I don't think we'll ever agree on cereal for as long as we are married. Here's something funny that happened when we were grocery shopping.
Mark and I went down the cereal aisle separately and this is what we came back with. He chose Cocoa Puffs, and I selected the Kashi Go Lean Crisp. I'm not saying one is better than the other (Ahem, well, maybe I am!). I admit that the Cocoa Puffs taste better, but the Kashi Go Lean is better for you.

I recently saw where Kelsey at the Seattle Smith's did a post about her husband's sugary cereal overload. I thought it was so cute, and I could totally relate to it. She inspired me to write my own post about the subject.
Valentine's Day has me thinking about the sweet, silly, funny, little things that happen in our marriage everyday that make me smile.
What's something funny, sweet or silly that's happened in your marriage that's made you smile?
Does he go "Coo-coo for Cocoa Puffs?" Sorry, couldn't resist. At least they're made with whole grain... ;P
ReplyDeleteThat is too funny! My husband and I are the same way! We have no kids... but if you look in the cabinets in the kitchen, you would sure think a kid lives here! lol But I love it! :)
ReplyDeleteHaHa!! That's like my hubby and I! So funny!
ReplyDeleteI have to say that my husband is usually pretty healthy. However, every time he goes to the grocery store alone he comes home with a box of candy. Every time! LOL!
