I heard about the Ultimate Blog Party 2011 from
Mel at the Larson Lingo. Love her blog!
I decided to join in the fun and link up.
I'm Michele.
My blog will turn a year old in May! I'm relatively new to blogging and I can't imagine life without it. I started blogging as a way to express random thoughts that were on my mind, but it's turned into so much more. The biggest blessing from blogging is meeting some really amazing people. I never cease to be amazed by the kindness of bloggers that I meet. It's a community where I belong. I feel validated.
Blog friends are real friends!
I mostly blog about my family and life in our small Texas town.
I've been happily married to Mark since June 2002.
Besides being a wife and mommy, I'm also a junior high history teacher. I love being a teacher. My husband is also a teacher. We work together at the same school. I know some people would go crazy working with their spouse, but it's the opposite for us. We really enjoy working together. I'd rather spend time with my husband than any other person in the world.
I also love spending time with the other two loves of my life--Will and Ben. Will is 4.5 and Ben will be 2 in June. They keep us on our toes, but I couldn't imagine life without the chaos. We love every minute of the craziness.
We are truly blessed.
We are truly blessed.
Mark and the boys pretty much consume most of my time, but I do find time for shopping, dreaming about building our forever home, baking, gardening, watching TV and blogging, of course. We also like to travel and take road trips. Since we are teachers we take full advantage of summer vacation.
Most importantly I'm a Christian and strive to live a faithful life that glorifies God. Many times I feel like I fail miserably, which makes me all the more grateful for the grace of God and love of Christ.
If you'd like to know more random information about me, you'll find it here.
My first blog post ever is here.
The reason I started blogging was to process my feelings and emotions about a health issue, which I shared here.
I'm so happy you stopped by!
I hope you leave a comment to let me know you were here.
I'd love to "meet" you and get to know you more.

ReplyDeletei taught junior high and high school for 5 years, before leaving to stay at home with my kiddos. i think the ability to make grammar (or history) exciting to 8th graders, you have to be a special kind of person. :)
ReplyDeletelove the tone of your blog, and look forward to getting to know you and your beautiful family,
