This weekend we had the opportunity to work at The Land again. We spent a Saturday there a few weeks ago doing the same thing {photos here}. We cut down tress, cleared brush and limbs and burned it all. After we worked all afternoon, we made a smaller camp fire so we could cook hot dogs and s'mores. We packed everything we needed for the cookout except one important necessity--lanterns. It gets dark quickly and we didn't prepare for that. Oops! We learned our lesson and next time we do a cookout we'll be sure to bring flashlights and lanterns so we don't have to walk out of the woods in the dark.

All of the essentials for s'mores. A camp fire must have!
Don't catch that marshmallow on fire! Just kidding...that was me who did that!

Love your pictures sweet friend. There is nothing more beautiful than a piece of land in Texas. :) So fun, and I know you are creating so many memories there, and will do so in the future.
